About Joanna

Joanna Rajtar is a Polish-Australian artist based in Melbourne. She started her artistic journey in her early childhood and developed her painting skills and a unique style under the supervision of Polish and Australian painters. After graduating with a law degree from Warsaw University, she worked simultaneously as a lawyer and continued to practice painting. Currently, she is primarily focused on art, and her favourite techniques are acrylic, oil, and digital art.

In her works, the artist often combines the symbolism of her two beloved cultures, creating original works that are warmly and joyfully received by her observers. She also loves to capture the beauty of nature and people around her.

Joanna showcases her small art collections at exhibitions in Australia and occasionally in Poland. Her artwork is presented in the form of original paintings, prints and a variety of products which can be found online, on local art fairs and festivals. She supports Australian institutions and private companies with her work, and she welcomes custom orders.

Among her many interests, Joanna also loves to write and play with words. Noticing that the letters of the word “Art” were hiding within her last name, she adopted it as an artistic pseudonym - “Joanna RajArt” under which she works to this day.
